We released a free Data Leak Checker
The checker is powered by Alert and lets you see if your data has been compromised in a data leak. You don’t need a Surfshark subscription to use it. All you have to do is enter your email address, and the tool will check it for database and malware attack leaks. Your email will stay private and won’t be used for marketing.

We received an AV-TEST certification (again!)
An industry-leading antivirus testing organization, AV-Test, tested our Antivirus performance once more. This time, we received 6/6 in Protection, 5.5/6 in Performance, and 6/6 in Usability. Check out this blog post to read more about the certification.
We updated all of our servers to 10Gbps
From now on, all our servers will offer up to 10Gbps speeds, ensuring faster connections, quicker data transfers, less crowded servers, and enhanced user stability.
This improvement means you can enjoy a seamless and efficient experience without the hassle of choosing between different servers. For more information, read our blog post about the 10Gbps server update.
We added two new Dedicated IP server locations
Our Dedicated IP servers in the USA are back in stock! We’ve just rolled out a brand-new location in Denver, so you can now enjoy a personal IP right from the Mile High City. We’re also expanding our Dedicated IP server network to a fresh new spot in Singapore.
Our scam spotting course is now on Udemy
We moved our Online Safety Course to Udemy and you can now access it for free! The training includes 7 modules on scams on different platforms, detailed quizzes, and downloadable sheets that will help you unmask scams in real life.
You can now download the Surfshark app from Flathub

Our Windows app now uses x64 architecture by default
Starting with Windows 5.9.0, our app will use the x64 architecture, offering a smoother experience on x64 operating systems!
Windows 5.9.0 update also features an upgraded app onboarding flow and a fully reworked Refer a friend program.
You can now add websites to Bypasser on iOS
Our new iOS 3.21.0 app now includes the Bypasser feature! Update your app and add website URLs you don’t want to use VPN.
In addition, the new app allows you to pause your VPN connection using small widgets, too. To do so, long-press the Surfshark VPN widget, choose the Edit widget option, and select the pause time.
In addition, the new iOS app features our upgraded app onboarding flow and a few bug fixes.
We uplifted our Android widgets
Update your app to Android 3.10.9 and enjoy uplifted and improved Surfshark widgets, allowing you to use your VPN more easily without opening the app.
Additionally, with our newest Android 3.10.9 app, we’ve improved our fastest location and Bypasser features and fixed call bugs related to Alternative Number. On top of that, we’ve optimized our VPN connection info screen to work better with devices that use larger fonts.
