At Surfshark, we strive to build the most beloved security products for everyone. We talk about cybersecurity and cyberthreats in a language everyone understands, making our products accessible to all. We aspire for everyone to have complete control of their digital lives and care about the future and accessibility of the internet.

Being proud to work with trusted organizations

Partnering with like-minded non-governmental organizations and nonprofits allows us to raise awareness of internet restrictions, censorship, and digital rights through a creative, non-traditional lens.

Journalists and media organisations face a range of threats in the online space. Strong cybersecurity tools are essential to ensuring journalists around the world can do their work freely and safely, which is why IPI values Surfshark as a partner in supporting press freedom and digital safety for journalists globally.

We are proud to work alongside Surfshark on the VPN Trust Initiative (VTI), collaborating on important issues that enhance transparency, accountability, and trust within the VPN industry. Together, we are helping shape a safer and more secure online environment.

Surfshark’s support allowed us to provide 100 pro bono Surfshark One vouchers to members of our Global Tech Hub network. This helps journalists and media workers operating in challenging environments protect their devices and networks with one simple tool, strengthening their digital security and access to reliable information.

In our research hub, we transform complex data into clear insights to help everyone understand and navigate the online world safely.

Bot or Not initiative

Through Bot or Not, we teach people to spot the difference between bots and real humans online — making a hidden problem visible.
