In industries as dynamic as cybersecurity, growth is closely tied to adaptability. We have long focused on refining our existing products while, just as importantly, introducing new tools. Last year, that was exemplified by FastTrack, Everlink, and the email scam checker – new features that evolved from strong ideas into valuable tools through cross-team collaboration, testing, and refinement.
We’re glad to announce Surfshark has been included in the Financial Times 1000 ranking of Europe’s fastest-growing companies for the third time! To us, this shows that innovation and improvement earn our clients’ trust and loyalty.
What is FT1000: Europe’s Fastest-Growing Companies ranking and why it matters
The FT1000, compiled annually by the Financial Times in partnership with Statista, ranks 1,000 top European companies based on revenue growth over a defined multi-year timeframe. Using independently verified financial data, it measures compound annual growth rates to benchmark companies across sectors and markets. Inclusion indicates not only rapid growth but sustained performance relative to peers.
It feels great to see our innovation continue to scale. This year, Surfshark ranked 315th overall and 68th in the IT & Software category. Being featured once is a milestone. Appearing three times in a row signals consistent, repeatable expansion.
Our growth and innovation in 2025
For Surfshark, that performance is closely linked to continued product development and innovation, which has been one of our priorities for years. For instance, last year, we introduced FastTrack – a tool that optimizes VPN traffic routing to improve speed and reduce latency, especially during high-demand activities like streaming or gaming. It was also the year of Everlink, which maintains connection stability by using multiple secure pathways to prevent interruptions if one route fails.
That’s on top of all our other 2025 improvements and innovations, including a web content blocker, public DNS servers, 7 new dedicated IP locations, and many more.
Beyond new feature launches, 2025 was also defined by improvements to infrastructure and reliability. We strengthened core performance capabilities, reinforced security layers, and optimized systems to support a growing global user base. Scaling responsibly required investment not only in products, but in operational processes and technical resilience.
What’s next?
In cybersecurity, standing still means falling behind. Sustained growth depends on continuous improvement and the ability to respond to change.
As we move forward, our focus remains the same: strengthen protection, improve reliability, and continue building tools that help people navigate the internet with greater confidence.
