Updates implemented to our private search tool over the years

After announcing that we would go beyond just being a VPN provider, we’ve introduced many additional online security tools. One was Surfshark Search — announced together with our personal data monitoring tool, Alert.  

Both Alert and Search received a lot of positive feedback from our users and the international media. 

We’re continually working on improving our products and making them as accessible and convenient as possible. As a result, we’ve implemented a few upgrades since the release of our private search tool. Here’s what we updated throughout the years:

• Improved the image search option. All you have to do is select Image to filter the results;

• Added the autosuggest feature. Our algorithms help you with your searches by auto-suggesting related phrases;

• Launched country-specific results. To use it, select a country from our list that you’d like to get results from;
