Mid/Senior Front-End Developer (Web team)

Millions of users visit the Surfshark website every month, so it must meet the highest performance standards. And that’s where our dedicated Web Development team comes to the rescue! They write front-end and back-end code for our website, develop and maintain our web design systems, improve website accessibility, and make tools for content managers. Sounds like something you’d be up to? Then read along!

If you want to:

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards;
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs;
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability;
  • Code according to Web Accessibility standards;
  • Participate in code reviews, bug fixing, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables;
  • Work closely with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.

  • And you can check off:

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a Front-end Developer with a focus on React;
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related front-end technologies;
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling;
  • Understanding of version control systems (Git);
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.

  • Bonus points if you have:

  • Familiarity with Next.js;
  • Experience with TypeScript;
  • Experience with headless CMS;
  • Experience with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Express.js);
  • Familiarity with D3.js.
