Lead Data Analyst (Heypolo)

Business Intelligence
Vilnius / Kaunas / Warsaw
A hand holding a magnifying glass over an eye.
At HeyPolo, data isn’t an afterthought — it shapes how people stay safe and connected without sacrificing privacy. We’re building a smart, privacy-first location-sharing app where every metric, model, and insight has real-world impact. You’ll work with meaningful data (not vanity dashboards), help define what “good” looks like in a consent-based environment, and influence decisions from day one in a product that’s still being shaped.

If you want to:

  • Create intuitive, actionable dashboards and visualizations for daily operational use and strategic decision-making;
  • Partner with leaders in product, marketing, and operations to understand business context and translate questions into analytical frameworks;
  • Provide consultative insight to stakeholders and influence decision-making through clear communication of results;
  • Define and prioritize the analytics backlog — anticipate business needs rather than waiting for tickets;
  • Build and maintain analytical models in dbt to support reporting and analysis;
  • Advocate for best practices in data hygiene, measurement, and analytics deliverables.

And you can check off:

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst with a track record of independent execution and impact;
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to write performant queries and build dbt models;
  • Demonstrated ability to create meaningful dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent;
  • Comfortable translating vague, open-ended business problems into structured analytical tasks;
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving instincts and a proactive work style;
  • Experience working across multiple domains (e.g., marketing, product, operations) to influence cross-functional outcomes.

Here’s the deal:

  • Growth and learning opportunities: time dedicated to learning, conferences, online learning platforms, and books for your professional development;
  • Health and wellness: we want you to feel and be your best. That's why we offer various benefits, from online workouts, a physical coach and a gym to regular mental health checks;
  • Tools of your choice: choose technical equipment and the tools you need to do your best;
  • Community and celebrations: get ready for long-lasting traditions such as yearly workation, Friday get-togethers, various team buildings and company celebrations;
  • Convenient commuting: traveling from point A to point B can be a pain. That’s why, depending on your unique circumstances, we compensate part of your public transport costs;
  • Work-life balance: We encourage working in the office, with the possibility of up to two remote days per week. Plus, with our WFA policy, you can work from almost anywhere in the world;
  • Premium Surfshark accounts: for you, your family, and friends;
  • Gross salary: 5200-6300 Eur/month for the Lithuanian market, 23350-26000 Pln/month for the Polish market. It may vary depending on your skills and experience.
