Node.js developer (Incogni)

We’re building a new squad, a startup within a startup, to design, develop, and grow our new and much-needed tool to protect your identity online. It’s called Incogni – a new consumer privacy-tech tool that allows anyone to remove their personal data from 3rd party companies. If you want to:

  • Create, build, and maintain cybersecurity products that matter;
  • Focus on writing clear, tested, documented code that delivers real business value;
  • Develop scalable back-end solutions;
  • Contribute to generating new ideas and improving existing skills within the senior team.
  • And you can check off:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in back-end development using Node.js (Nest.js or similar frameworks);
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and familiarity with API design principles;
  • Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases, including database design and optimization;
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and code collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab);
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization with Docker;
  • Ability to write clean and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Bonus points if you:

  • Understand how RabbitMQ and Redis work;
  • Have experience with PHP, Symfony, or similar frameworks;
  • Have done web scraping;
  • Are familiar with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deployment and hosting.
