Creative Strategist
Cybersecurity doesn't have to be boring. At Surfshark, we take a bold approach to building a brand that makes people feel safe and in control online. Our creative team is where strategy meets storytelling — and we're looking for a Creative Strategist to be the ultimate translator: someone who takes what the business needs to say and turns it into something people actually care about.
If you want to:
Turn business goals into human stories. Translate objectives, product priorities, and research into clear, structured, inspiring briefs that define the real problem the creative team should solve.
Make tech sound human. Be the person who always asks "Why should anyone care?" — and gets stakeholders nodding at the same message before a single pixel moves.
Shape how launches land. Own the messaging and communication strategy: what we say, to whom, and why, across every phase of a launch.
Build what lasts. Create messaging frameworks, strategic toolkits, and briefing processes the whole company can rely on and scale with.
Get local. Go deeper on our key markets. Figure out what makes them tick, what to emphasize locally, and make sure our global big ideas actually work on the ground.
Stay sharp. Work with performance and research teams to analyze what's working, and feed those learnings straight back into the strategy.
And you can check off:
A builder's mindset. You've built communication strategies and nailed briefs from scratch. You don't need a playbook to get moving.
Translation skills. You have a sixth sense for taking complicated, technical products and making them clear enough that your friends would get it.
A global perspective. You know how to talk to the world — adapting messaging across cultures and markets without losing the core brand.
Comfort in the gray area. Ambiguity doesn't scare you. When a brief is messy, you ask the hard questions, define the problem, and point everyone in the right direction.
A confident voice. You know how to push back constructively, pitch your ideas, and get people on board — even when you're not their boss.
Bonus points if you:
Know your way around digital-first, SaaS, or subscription-based products.
Don't just love a great creative concept — you love the performance data that proves it worked.
Have spent real time working shoulder-to-shoulder with creative or product teams.
Use AI tools to speed up insight synthesis and messaging iteration.
