This team comprises experts who specialize in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large amounts of data, as well as building predictive models using machine learning algorithms. The Data team also takes pride in creating robust ETLs and dashboards that allow other teams to monitor, plan, and achieve their goals effectively.

As a Product Data Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in shaping the self-service-enabled reporting layer, being the bridge between business and technical teams and helping them extract insights and knowledge from vast amounts of data. If this sounds interesting, read along!

If you want to:

  • Own the product analytics strategy end-to-end, connecting product usage and business outcomes into a single, decision-ready framework;

  • Ensure product analytics are integrated, consistent, and complementary—not duplicated or competing;

  • Lead, coach, and scale your team, enabling them to become true business partners.

  • Establish and enforce high standards for data quality, governance, documentation, reproducibility, and analytical rigor;

  • Define and standardize metrics and experimentation practices within your domain to ensure analytics informs decision-making before execution;

  • Act as a senior thought partner to the Product, Engineering, and Payments teams, turning ambiguous problems into structured, outcome-driven analytical work;

  • Design and drive end-to-end analytics solutions and process improvements that scale with product complexity and organizational growth.

And you can check off:

  • Proven experience leading and developing analytics teams in a SaaS, consumer app, or digital product environment;

  • A track record of influencing senior stakeholders and shaping strategy through data;

  • Hands-on experience in product or user analytics;

  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large-scale, event-level datasets;

  • Experience with modern analytics stacks (e.g., dbt, Looker, Tableau, and Git-based workflows);

  • The ability to turn ambiguous business questions into clear analytical plans and drive them to actionable outcomes;

  • High standards for clarity, structure, and precision in both analysis and communication;

  • Confidence in operating in ambiguous environments and bringing structure where needed.
