Mid/Senior Legal Counsel (Commercial)

They're our go-to peeps: always ready to advise and share their knowledge of international regulations, support our internal teams (from marketing to product) on complex legal matters, and stay ahead of the curve on privacy, security, and data protection news. If you want to:

  • Work on Surfshark’s commercial contracts and help shape internal and external policies;
  • Support the development of new products by offering legal insights and advice;
  • Tackle day-to-day contract-related questions across different jurisdictions;
  • Monitor and ensure the compliance of Surfshark’s products and services with relevant consumer protection laws;
  • Prepare, negotiate, and review various commercial contracts;
  • Keep up with market trends and news, suggest ideas from your field of expertise, and cooperate with other team members.

    • And you can check off:

  • Proven hands-on experience with commercial contracts, either in-house or at a law firm;
  • Confidence working both independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks;
  • Understanding of the IT environment and technology;
  • Strong sense of ownership;
  • Analytical, strategic, and result-oriented view;
  • Curiosity and a willingness to learn something new every day;
  • Full working proficiency in English.

    • Bonus points if you:

  • Bring international experience to the table;
  • Know your way around IP/IT law or have worked in the tech industry — either in-house or at a law firm;
  • Have dealt with consumer protection issues;
  • Are familiar with corporate law practices;
  • Understand the ins and outs of regulatory law.
