Apple fans, good news from Surfshark — Bypasser is now available on iOS! Bypasser is the perfect feature to use when you want selected sites or services to automatically skip the VPN and use your regular connection. Want to learn more about it? Then keep on reading!

How does Bypasser work?

Bypasser is Surfshark’s version of the split tunneling feature. Split tunneling lets you route your internet traffic through two separate paths: one via the VPN for secure activities and another directly to the internet without encryption. With iOS Bypasser, you can choose specific websites to route via or bypass the VPN tunnel.

What are the benefits of using Bypasser?

Bypasser is a feature that makes your VPN more convenient — with it, you don’t have to manually turn off your VPN to visit specific websites or services that are IP-sensitive, like online banking. Also, if a website or service you’re using is having trouble loading or displaying content with a VPN, you can use Bypasser to automatically skip the VPN connection. This way, you can seamlessly access trusted websites without a VPN and keep the full protection everywhere else.

How do you use Bypasser on iOS?

To use Bypasser on your iOS, you should:

  1. Open the Surfshark app and click Settings on the left-hand side panel.
  2. In the Settings tab, click on VPN settings.
  3. Once there, click on Bypasser.
  4. Click on Add website.
