Mid/Senior Localization Project Manager
The Content Team is the creative force behind Surfshark's written communication — blog posts, landing pages, emails, ads, you name it. Made up of editors, localization managers, language owners, performance and creative copywriters, our team ensures every message connects authentically in every market.
So, if you can own end-to-end localization lifecycle across 16+ languages, turn workflows into seamless systems, and act as the strategic voice advocating for global-first content — this might be the place for you.
If you want to:
Own the workflow: manage translation delivery for web, apps, and campaigns across 16+ languages, maintaining on-time, high-quality delivery;
Build lasting relationships: coordinate with language owners, agencies, vendors and other stakeholders — turning partnerships into strategic collaborations;
Guard the brand voice: maintain glossaries, style guides, and translation memories that keep consistency alive across every market and every language;
Catch issues before they become problems: spot linguistic nuances and market-specific gaps before content goes live;
Engineer processes: design and optimize workflows (and the tools behind them) that scale without breaking;
Track performance: stay invested in metrics that matter — edit distance, turnaround times, efficiency, marketing performance — and use data to improve;
Master the AI pipeline: help drive smarter prompting and workflow logic to reduce edit distance and unlock performing localization at scale;
Stay curious about what's next: understand emerging tools, innovations, and best practices shaping localization;
Uplift translation quality while driving more performing localization.
And you can check off:
3–5 years of hands-on localization project management in fast-scaling tech environments;
Sharp project management skills — you juggle multiple concurrent projects and consistently deliver on time;
Excellent written and verbal communication in English;
Strategic ownership mindset — you own project outcomes and stakeholder relationships end-to-end;
Strong attention to detail, even under pressure;
Forward-thinking and curious about industry changes;
Understanding of different content types (paid, organic, web, apps) and their distinct localization needs;
Experience with localization management tools (Crowdin would be a plus), with focus on process automation.
