Surfshark’s annual Digital Quality of Life study ranks 120+ countries across the globe. In 2024, Germany tops in the list and is followed by Finland, France, Netherlands and Denmark.
According to Surfshark’s Digital Quality of Life 2023 index, France topped the list regarding internet affordability that year. In terms of internet quality, the United Arab Emirates ranked first, and Sweden led in electronic infrastructure. Belgium ranked first in electronic security, while Singapore took the top spot in electronic government.
According to Surfshark’s Digital Quality of Life 2024 index, the most affordable fixed internet is found in Bulgaria. To afford fixed internet, people must work 0 hours and 14 minutes a month in Bulgaria. Angola has the world's most affordable mobile internet. To afford mobile internet, people must work 9 minutes and 19 seconds a month in Angola.
