Senior Backend Engineer (Incogni)
If you want to:
- Design, build, and evolve high-traffic, business-critical backend services with a focus on scalability and reliability;
- Lead and influence architectural decisions — from domain modeling and service boundaries to infrastructure and deployment strategies;
- Drive the evolution of our next-generation service platform together with senior and lead engineers;
- Identify system bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements to support long-term growth;
- Own complex technical initiatives end-to-end, from design to production;
- Write clean, well-tested code while raising engineering standards across the team.
And you can check off:
- Strong experience as a backend or software engineer building production systems;
- Solid understanding of software design principles, service-oriented architecture, and API design;
- Experience building application backends, internal platforms, or service ecosystems;
- Confidence working with different programming languages and stacks, and picking the right tool for the problem;
- Experience working with databases, messaging systems, and distributed components;
- Comfort participating in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
Bonus points if you:
- Have experience building or scaling platforms that serve millions of requests;
- Worked with multiple backend languages or ecosystems (for example, PHP, Go, Node.js, or others);
- Designed systems with reliability, observability, and operational concerns in mind.

Gross salary: 5600 - 7200 Eur/month for the Lithuanian market, 23800-33400 PLN/month for the Polish market. It may vary depending on your skills and experience.
