Media Strategist

We’re looking for someone ready to join our team of ambitious humans working to outsmart the competition in one of the most challenging cybersecurity markets – the VPN industry! We are driven by pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and making quality a norm. If you’re looking for the best tech challenge of your life, this is your sign.

If you want to:

  • Purify our ATL media planning and buying strategy;
  • Closely collaborate with regional media partners;
  • Specify campaign evaluation, strategic principles, and guidelines, as well as ensure they are aligned with our marketing goals;
  • Assist cross-functional teams on audience demos, targeting capabilities, and creative formats; In other words – be the expert across various mass media channels; 
  • Provide country managers with ideas and recommendations on how to implement creative concepts across various media partners; 
  • Assist other channels with their mass media campaigns (from planning to final execution);
  • Help improve partner teams’ campaign planning and execution by giving them clear and actionable feedback on tooling requirements;
  • Acknowledge and promote the company’s values and goals; 
  • Actively look for new opportunities to make our brand stand out within the media;
  • Seek and pitch online/offline media agencies from around the globe (when needed).

And you can check off: 

  • At least 5 years of experience owning, managing, and fully executing media campaign strategies;
  • In-depth knowledge of the role of mass media when planning large campaigns; 
  • Great negotiation skills and the ability to represent Surfshark while collaborating with external partners; 
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong attention to detail; 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Capability to work cross-functionally;
  • Understanding of how overall marketing works and what role mass media plays within it; 
  • Up to date with current industry trends and new platforms.
